“New York in pink” repeats the composition of “New York in blue” in a pink version. Against a peach-colored sky, the skyscrapers rise in pink and magenta, and in front, a row of trees in coral, orange and cream rests on a strip of intense pink.

Beneath the trees, a wide peach-colored area fills the lower part of the image.

The same shapes, with another palette, give a different image: pinks, corals and soft yellows, with visible brushstrokes and no defined outlines.

Pierre-Emmanuel Lyet depicts colorful atmospheres and ethereal backgrounds, blending patches of color. His work moves between the introspective, in soft tones, and the festive, in bright colors, always with a fluid, spontaneous expression.
