The Art of Roskow

Roskow is the artistic pseudonym of Fernando Huarte Campión (San Sebastián, 1963), a veteran Donostia artist who lives and works in his hometown. He directs, prepares and executes all his artistic work from his base in the Egia neighborhood, with a philosophy of self-production and creative independence.

His eclectic tastes and influences are similar to his eclectic professional training. The intention to study illustration in Donosti turned into an endless series of courses in engraving and silkscreen printing, which led to a specialization in sculpture at the La Palma School of Applied Arts in Madrid.

Generally acrylics on canvas, but also ink on paper, marble dust, gold leaf, digital printing, collage, watercolor, explosive mixture... and very little volume.
