The Beginning
El Moderno Gallery began within El Moderno Concept Store.
It was there that we started producing our first fine art print editions, displayed alongside the store’s curated selection of home décor, accessories, stationery, design objects, and handcrafted goods.
Over time, interest in these works continued to grow, and the collection became an increasingly important part of what we offered. Eventually, it became clear that it needed a space of its own.
The Gallery Opens
In 2023, we opened El Moderno Gallery, a gallery, shop, and publisher specializing in contemporary fine art prints.
This new space allowed us to bring our vision of a gallery dedicated to contemporary fine art prints to life, expand our catalog, welcome new artists, and establish our own production of made-to-order Giclée editions in a range of formats.
El Moderno Gallery was founded by Julien Desmarescaux, Delphine Costenoble, and David Yerga. Julien played a key role in launching the gallery and shaping its early years. Since 2025, El Moderno Gallery has been led by David Yerga, together with Delphine Costenoble, partner and strategic advisor.
Two Closely Connected Projects
Although they are now separate ventures, El Moderno Gallery and El Moderno Concept Store remain closely connected.
A selection of our fine art prints is still available at the Malasaña store, while the gallery continues to grow with a focus on publishing and producing contemporary fine art prints.
