The Art of Fernando Vicente

Fernando Vicente (Madrid, 1963), illustrator and painter who stood out in the Madrid art scene of the 80’s, a period known as “movida madrileña”, with his meticulous and realistic drawing technique. His art, which transcends realism to include everything from caricature to pictorial collage, combines realism and fantasy. Recognized in both illustration and painting, he has received the National Illustration Award in 2008, and his work has been exhibited internationally.
