Mattias Adolfsson's "Animal Tree" is an intricate work depicting a gigantic tree inhabited by various creatures. All kinds of creatures can be found among the branches, some look like animals, others like fantastical beings or robots, but few look like birds.

The creatures are engaged in different activities: drawing, watching television, playing instruments, cooking, playing chess and cards, looking at themselves in a mirror, chatting or just hanging out. At the bottom, a wolf and a hedgehog look ready to climb the tree with the help of a ladder.
