Bañera Peter Pan Giclée Print A2
Description
‘Bañera Peter Pan’ by Manuel Marsol shows a magical scene where Peter Pan's toys come to life in a child's bathtub. Tinkerbell stands on the tap, while Captain Hook fights against Peter Pan who flies over the prow of the pirate ship. A crocodile waits with its jaws open for Captain Hook to fall into the water, while mermaids rest on a small island.
The child contemplates the scene, his feet reflected in the green tiles on the wall. This work is ideal for those looking to capture the imagination and magic of children's play.
This giclée print is part of the project in collaboration with the Bologna Children's Book Fair and La Baracca Testoni Ragazzi called ‘MAPPING’. A map on the aesthetics of performing arts for early childhood.
As part of the huge artistic and academic research, 4 illustrators (Katsumi Komagata, Fabian Negrin, Klaas Verplancke and Manuel Marsol) had to answer through their works to questions like ‘To what extent is an illusion real for a child audience? Is there any difference with reality? When does silence speak? How can we talk about some taboos (like death, violence...) with them?’.
