The amulet series Manos de Tanata are designed to protect against bad omens and to attract good luck.

The amulet in the form of a Higa, reproduces the closing of the fist, leaving the thumb between the index and middle finger. The origin is uncertain, before the Roman world, and was used against the evil eye. Also, as a defense against disease, envy and jealousy.
